### Import/Export Booster

Import and Export let you back up your boosters or move them between stores quickly, without setting them up again from scratch.

This guide includes 2 parts:

1. Export Boosters
2. Import Boosters

![](https://1174860429-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FBQEzvXIQmpPrTmxjT8T6%2Fuploads%2FvlaebLWt9RSCbktBGQjx%2Funknown.png?alt=media\&token=aa0744ff-2be6-4253-9c62-071cc3621dca)

#### 1. Export Boosters

Export your boosters as a CSV file to back them up or reuse them on another store.

![](https://1174860429-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FBQEzvXIQmpPrTmxjT8T6%2Fuploads%2FzDmaFzduJTs0Ciwy27gw%2Funknown.png?alt=media\&token=99c68bad-ee05-4344-a54b-21807d774492)

To export, please follow these steps:

1. On the Menu, open Boosters.
2. Click **More actions** > **Export** at the top-right corner.
3. Under Export, select what you want to export:

* All boosters: Export every booster in your store.
* Selected: X boosters:
* Export only the boosters you ticked in the list below.
* To use this option, tick the boosters you want to export before opening the Export modal.
* Progress only
* Today offer - widget only
* Today offer - block only
* Offer page only
* Announcement bar only

4. In the Add your email to receive the exported files field, enter the email where you want to receive the CSV file. By default, this is pre-filled with your Shopify store email.
5. Click Export. The CSV file will be sent to your email shortly.

The exported CSV contains your booster settings only. Offers are not included.

#### 2. Import Boosters

Import a CSV file to quickly add boosters to your store, such as those exported from another store.

Only CSV files exported from BOGOS are supported.

![](https://1174860429-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FBQEzvXIQmpPrTmxjT8T6%2Fuploads%2FcuYnMtgvvcxg90NXEuu2%2Funknown.png?alt=media\&token=93828348-6571-4bb7-9376-2333023ed4fb)

To import, please follow these steps:

1. On the Menu, open Boosters.
2. Click **More actions > Import** at the top-right corner.
3. In the Import modal, click Add files and select the CSV file from your computer.
4. Click Upload.

Once uploaded, BOGOS will check the file and add the boosters to your store. They will then appear in your Boosters list.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.bogos.io/detailed-guide/boosters.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
